Harper is indeed a miracle puppy – she has defied death twice. A woman in Sanford, Florida saved her the first time when she noticed a wriggling bag being held by a man selling puppies in a Save-a-Lot parking lot. She asked him what was in the bag, but he refused to show her. She persisted, and he handed the bag to her, revealing a deformed puppy. Had this laudable woman not intervened, the puppy would have suffocated.

When Harper was rescued from the trash bag, she wasn’t given much of a chance for survival. She has pectus excavatum (literally meaning hollowed chest), or swimmer puppy syndrome. Most dogs born with this condition survive only a few days, or weeks at best. She couldn’t walk or even hold her head up.

Veterinarians and shelter staff agreed that it would be for the best if the puppy was put to sleep. But Erica Daniel, a regular at the shelter, wanted to take her home to give the little girl one final day, with all the love and comfort she could know in her short life.

Hi Everyone,

As per my recent post on Facebook, I’m looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to join me as life planners with Great Eastern who would then progress either on the management route where you will be recruiting and developing a group of life planners under your charge, or the sales professional route to continue serving your clients personally and walk with them throughout the planning of their financial lives.

If you’re responsible, disciplined, diligent, enjoy meeting new people, have the gift of the gab, love to help others or are just looking to switch to a more rewarding career, then perhaps a profession in the financial planning sector might be the way to go.

Like most of you, the thought of joining the financial planning industry never crossed my mind. Not till I got a taste of what it felt like be deskbound from eight to five during my industrial attachment when I was a student. I yearned for a job that came with more freedom and I wanted to be able see the results of my hard work and effort.

I took a leap of faith, became a financial planner right after completing national service and haven’t looked back since. It has been a most rewarding experience. Especially so when I know I’m now able to provide a relatively comfortable lifestyle for my family.

But it isn’t just about the money. What mattered was that I’ve could broaden my horizons through the people I’ve met and who come from all walks of life. Plus, I’ve also become a part of their lives as they move on in life, get married, have a family of their own, make career transitions, etc.

A rewarding basic salary and an attractive variable await candidates with the right pre-requisites.

Coffee's like a good ol' health potion to give you life, while whiskey's like a mana pot, allowing you to perform magic.

Having a cup of coffee now. Where's my mana pot?

Should have made Irish coffee siah.

'Does character develop over time? In novels, of course it does: otherwise there wouldn't be much of a story. But in life? I sometimes wonder. Our attitudes and opinions change, we develop new habits and eccentricities; but that's something different, more like decoration. Perhaps character resembles intelligence, except that character peaks a little later: between twenty and thirty, say. And after that, we're just stuck with what we've got. We're on our own. If so, that would explain a lot of lives, wouldn't it?'

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year! I hope the year of the dragon had been a fruitful one.

First and foremost, I’d like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude towards my friends and clients. Thank you for the trust and support you have given me. I’ve made it to the the Great Eastern Life Achiever’s Club and will be attending a Great Eastern Munich Convention this May which I am looking forward to. Without you, this wouldn’t have been possible.

In another piece of good news, I’ll be setting up my own insurance agency with Great Eastern. I’ve been working with all of you to assist you in achieving your financial goals as well as secure a better future and peace of mind for 11 years, so I hope the experience I’ve gained will be able to provide me the confidence to take on bigger challenges like this. I’m very excited and will be looking to recruit driven and enthusiastic individuals to join me. So if you’ve got anyone in mind or are looking for an opportunity yourself, do let me know.

Moving forward, I hope you will all continue to keep me in mind when it comes to your family’s, friends', or even your own financial planning needs. Feel free to approach me at any time for advice. Give yourself and your loved ones with peace of mind and better security for the future.

I wish everyone the best for 2013 and may good health and everlasting prosperity come snaking your way this Year of the Snake.

Warmest regards,
Royston Boh +65 97679364
