Twelve South have launched a new case for your shiny MacBook, the BookBook Hardback Leather MacBook Case.

The BookBook Hardback Leather MacBook Case is designed to look like a hardback book, and it is designed to protect and disguise your MacBook.

"BookBook is a one-of-a-kind, hardback leather case designed exclusively for MacBook and MacBook Pro. Available in Classic Black or Vibrant Red, BookBook brings three levels of security to your prized Mac.

First, the hardback cover and spine provide solid protection from the rigors of the road. Second, the vintage book design disguises MacBook for superior security. And third, the stylish case protects you from being like everyone else because BookBook is totally original, just like you."

Fri
========
Finally got my butt up to get some work done. Met a nice client at IMM who brought along his sister and cousin. I was like 0_0 "wah lau bring yr whole family ar. stress"

But it went pretty well =)

================

Shopped around IMM for a new sofa and a very nice sofa caught my eyes, $1,888 FA FA FA! but they can only deliver in Apr? *snores* Maybe I should just find a company to do the upholstery for the current sofa.

================

Bumped in ryu in the train while heading down to meet the other client.
It was very pleasant catching up with client, just reviewing his plans and chatting.

Wish life can be like this, working leisurely forever, but fact is that I should pick up my pace if I want to hit any quotas at all this year, since I'm starting from 0 again. *SnoooRReeeZzz*

The Adventures of Morgan Blair
http://www.sezio.org/feature/Morgan-Blair.aspx

I came across Morgan's work in Juxtapoz's reader art section. Her bright colors and love for early 90's flare drew me to her website immediately. After an hour of flipping through her sketchbooks and reading her cleverly-written blog, I had to ask for an interview. In her own words...

After the massage, I felt like I can take on the whole world siah.

Wanted to go for a nice jacuzzi bath first but Daniel Faye & Treize were already waiting for me at PS. So I reluctantly *sobs* took a quick shower and head over to meet them for dinner and shoppingz.

http://www.usnews.com/science/articles/2010/01/12/egypt-new-find-shows-slaves-didnt-build-pyramids.html?PageNr=1

CAIRO—Egypt displayed on Monday newly discovered tombs more than 4,000 years old and said they belonged to people who worked on the Great Pyramids of Giza, presenting the discovery as more evidence that slaves did not build the ancient monuments.

The series of modest nine-foot-deep shafts held a dozen skeletons of pyramid builders, perfectly preserved by dry desert sand along with jars that once contained beer and bread meant for the workers' afterlife.

The mud-brick tombs were uncovered last week in the backyard of the Giza pyramids, stretching beyond a burial site first discovered in the 1990s and dating to the 4th Dynasty (2575 B.C. to 2467 B.C.), when the great pyramids were built on the fringes of present-day Cairo.
